Winter- This is the Yin time of the year, the days have drawn in, and we also have turned our energy inwards, storing and reserving energy which may be much needed during all of the Christmas and New Year festivities. It is time to take our attention to the Kidneys and Bladder and we will focus on supporting the energy of the Water element. The Water Element encourages us to learn how to rejuvenate and refresh tired muscles, boost the immune system and detox and revitalise the mind and body. Through a guided Seasonal meditations, we will journey toward our inner light, which leads us to insight that may provide inspiration in the months ahead.
Seasonal Yoga is a unique style of yoga where we connect familiar postures with the ancient knowledge of the 5-Element Theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine. This powerful combination brings about a sense of balance as well as restoring your body & mind towards your highest energetic potential through Slow Flow and Yin practices.
Enjoy a seasonal medicine workshop specifically geared toward the Winter. You will get to taste and snack upon the flavors of the season. This part of the workshop is designed to share with you the best food to eat to promote good health and build the immune system at this time of the year including local foraging tips by Luscious Lucy Cornwall. Our mini retreat will be held in the stunning Oceanflow Yoga vinyasa studio with sweeping views of Fistral beach.
