Brighten up your February with this deeply delicious Restorative Yoga Workshop with Katie Austin. Restorative Yoga is all about dropping into the heady realms of relaxation and rejuvenation, perfect for recharging energy levels as we come towards the end of Winter ready for Spring!
The class will start with some gentle, soothing movement and breath work to help soften any restlessness in your body. Then, you will be guided into several floor-based restoring poses, settling your body as comfortably as possible with the help of bolsters, blankets and props. Each pose will be held for about 10 minutes or for as long as is comfortable.
When the body is in a state of deep comfort, the mind is encouraged to sink into a state of profound rest, loosening and releasing deep-seated layers of tension in the body and mind.
To finish, Katie will guide you through an ancient form of deep mediation called Yoga Nidra, or Yogic sleep.
Suitable for everyone, beginners included! Includes homemade vegan treats and tea.
