Join Stretch for a free and fun surf-inspired Beach SILENT DISCO YOGA Session this Saturday down on Fistral Beach! This class is suitable for beginners, surfers and anyone curious about how yoga can help you to stay balanced, both physically and mentally. What better than to stretch out whilst watching the waves and take some time to breathe, promoting a calm and clear mind. We’ll be holding this class ‘silent disco’ style so you’ll be given a set of headphones to wear whilst you practice so you can clearly hear Stretch’s instructions whilst you listening to some chilled surf inspired beats. Get down to register from 1.30pm and bring a mat or large towel if you have one, we will have limited mats available on a first come, first serve basis. Our session is being held as part of this amazing Natty Surf Jam event and please read on to find out more about why this festival is taking place and what will be happening over the day from these amazing event organisers!
THE NATTY SURF JAM SURF & MUSIC FESTIVAL
On April 1st 2017 we will be hosting the first ever ‘Natty Surf Jam’: A Festival of Music and Surfing to make a positive change in our local community. The event is in memory of local surfer Nathaniel Loney; a contagiously vibrant, loving soul who tragically lost his life at the age of 25 after a 3 year battle against severe depression & bi-polar disorder. The ultimate goal of The Natty Surf Jam is to raise awareness and support for young adults struggling with mental health related illnesses, so that no one has to face the journey alone.
